How to Start a Successful Internet Business in 7 Steps

It is rare to find someone that you can trust these days when it comes to the latest Internet Marketing product out there but without a doubt Jimmy D Brown is the person who I have invested in time and time again to help me with my online ventures and today’s post is an article he has written that I believe can get you started building an online business today. I hope you enjoy this article on “How to Start a Successful Internet Business in 7 Steps!”

It’s exciting to think about how much money you can make online.

But if you’re new to online marketing, it can also be overwhelming
to try to figure out which business model is right for you.

The solution? Keep it simple.

Just follow these seven surefire steps to online profits…

Step 1: Choose a Market

But don’t just choose any market – instead, choose a HUNGRY market.
That means you’re looking for a market that is actively seeking
paid solutions to their problems.

Here’s how:

o Search marketplaces like Amazon.com and Clickbank.com to see what
types of niches attract eager, proven buyers.

o Use a keyword tool like WordTracker.com or the free Google
Keyword Tool to find out what people are searching for. You can
enter your proposed niche keywords (like “dog training”) to see if
there is a demand, or enter a broad keyword (like “secrets” or “how
to”) to uncover new niches.

o Go to EzineArticles.com and browse the top articles to see which
niches are popular.

Step 2: Get Your Tools In Place

Once you find a niche that spends money, your next step is to
gather your tools. These include:

o A domain name, which you can get at NameCheap.com.
o Hosting, which you can secure at HostGator.com.
o An autoresponder, which you can purchase through Aweber.com.

Step 3: Select an Offer to Promote

Next, you need to find an affiliate offer that you can promote to
your hungry niche. The best way to do that is to find out what
they’re already buying… and choose a similar offer.

Simply go to Clickbank.com and browse the relevant niche category.
Those products appearing at the top of the catalog are your best
sellers – you should choose a product near the top of the list.

Just be sure to buy, read and use the product to ensure that it is,
indeed, a good product.

Step 4: Write and Upload a Mini eCourse

Your next step is to create an autoresponder series around the
topic of your product so that you can promote your offer. Your
autoresponder series should be at least 7-12 messages long.

For example:

You’re selling a copywriting product. You can create a seven-part
ecourse on how to write a sales letter. Then promote the
copywriting product in every message.

You’re selling a diet recipe book. You can create a 10-part weight
loss course that pitches the recipe book in every message.

You’re selling a dog training video. You can create a seven part
course that teaches the basic obedience lessons such as sit, down
and stay. In every message you refer your prospects to the paid
video for more information.

Here’s the key: Do NOT solve your prospect’s problems 100%. You
want to provide useful but incomplete information, so that your
prospects need to purchase your affiliate offer in order to fully
solve their problems.

Step 5: Create a Squeeze page

Next, you need to persuade your prospects to subscribe to your
ecourse. You do this by creating a mini sales page (AKA squeeze
page). This page should include:

o A headline that touts your course’s major benefit (e.g., “FREE:
How to housetrain your puppy in just three easy steps!”).

o A list of the other benefits of your course (e.g., “You’ll
discover the secrets of turning an unruly, rambunctious puppy into
a perfect houseguest!”).

o And a call to action (e.g., “Just enter your name and email
address in the form below now, click join and you’ll get instant
access to this eye-opening report!”).

You may also provide proof of your claims, such as testimonials,
videos, screenshots, pictures and similar evidence.

Step 6: Drive Traffic to the Squeeze Page

Next, you need to drive targeted traffic to your squeeze page so
that you can quickly build your list. You can do this by:

o Starting a blog and posting articles that are optimized for the
search engines.

o Trading links with other high traffic sites in your niche.

o Being a guest blogger on other peoples’ blogs.

o Co-promoting with other marketers in your niche (e.g., endorsing
each other in your newsletters).

o Submitting articles to EzineArticles.com and other article
directories.

o Using social media sites like Squidoo.com, Yahoo! Answers, and
Facebook.com.

o Participating on niche forums on in niche blog discussions.

Step 7: Add Messages to Your Autoresponder Series

Once you’re getting traffic, building your list and making a
profit, you can start adding even more messages to your
autoresponder – anywhere from a couple month’s worth of messages to
a year or more.

That way you’ll make money virtually on autopilot – all you have to
do is build your list and let your autoresponder do all the work!

Summary

Making money online doesn’t have to be complicated, not when you
follow these seven easy steps!

How to Create a Membership Site to Generate Passive Income #3

Simple Membership SystemQuick, what is it about a running a membership site that makes you NOT want to run one? If you’re like most marketers, the idea of being chained to your computer week after week delivering content is a major downside.

When you first got online, you probably had dreams of living the “Internet lifestyle.” You couldn’t wait to get away from the daily grind and job responsibilities. And yet if you run a membership site, it can feel like a job. You can’t see yourself running off to play on some exotic beach when you need to upload content at least once a week or more.

One alternative is to outsource this task. That is, you hire someone else to upload the content every week when you’re not available. But outsourcing comes with it’s own problems – namely, you need to 100% trust your freelancer to upload the content on time.

So if you haven’t yet developed a relationship with a freelancer, you probably won’t feel comfortable leaving your business (and your customers’ satisfaction) in a stranger’s hands.

Now before you toss aside the idea of ever having a vacation while running a membership site, let me give you two game-changing words: Autoresponder delivery.

You see, with a traditional membership site (like a PLR site), all members get the exact same content. So the person who just joined today is going to get the same content this month as the person who’s been a member for a year. Next month, everyone gets the same content again.

Obviously, this doesn’t make sense if you’re running a training site. That is, you want everyone to start with lesson #1 and get the lessons in order. So the person who joins today gets lesson #1. Meanwhile, the longtime member may be getting lesson #50.

The solution? A true “set it and forget it” model, which you can achieve by delivering all the content using an autoresponder.

Here’s how it works…

1.   You create content for your entire course. So if you have a yearlong course with weekly lessons, you’d create 52 lessons. If you have a three month course with weekly lessons, you’d create 12 lessons.

2.   Load your course into your autoresponder. Next, you need to get an autoresponder through a service like Aweber.com or GetResponse.com. Simply load up your messages into your autoresponder. Set the first lesson to go out immediately after the customer joins the course. Set each subsequent message to go out on a weekly basis.

3.   Create a sales letter. Now create your sales letter and insert your order button (from a payment processor that accepts recurring billing, such as PayPal).

4.   Drive traffic to your site. Here you can use all the usual methods of driving traffic, such as affiliate and joint venture partners, content marketing, pay per click marketing, social media marketing and similar.

5.   Play golf (or whatever). Now the members roll in and your autoresponder takes care of the rest, leaving you free to do what you want!

Just imagine: You could set up multiple autoresponder-based, fixed-term membership sites. Just set one up, drive traffic and move on to setting up the next one. Rinse and repeat until you’re making as much money as you want!

In part 4 of the 5 part series on “How to Create a Membership Site to Generate Passive Income” we are going to focus in on creating real passive income by having Back End Offers.

If you missed the first two parts of this series you can find them by click on this link for part #1 and this link for part #2.

Until the next one to your success,

The one thing you need if you have a website

If I asked you today what is the ONE thing you’d like to have

more of that would help you build your business, chances are

the answer you’d give me is this:

*** Traffic ***

Ask around and the average internet marketer is after more

traffic to their sites.  In fact, unless you have a weenie

server hosting your site, there is no such thing as “too much”

quality traffic.

It’s what everyone wants.  Number one on the wish list!

In Jimmy D. Brown’s ground-breaking course, Sales Army Secrets,

he explains how to get traffic — and a lot of it — for FREE.

That is, how to get other people — a lot of them — sending it

to you at no cost to yourself.

Now, for the first and only time, he’s offering a limited number

of resale rights licenses to sell this course.

*** Now YOU can sell the course that

teaches what everyone wants!

You can sell the course for $97 per order and keep 100%!

(This is not another $20 ebook to sell … it’s a PREMIUM course

that sells for almost a hundred bucks a pop!)

-> License details are at

http://www.infoprofitshare.com/go.php?offer=texasdmcg&pid=49

With your license, you receive …

1. A copy of the product to distribute. This includes both the

audio MP3 version (10 audio files … over 3 hours of meaty

audio!) and the text PDF version (105+ pages).

2. A copy of the bonuses to distribute. You will be able to

include the five bonuses ( SPECIAL REPORT: 8 Irresistible Ways

To Get ‘Super’ Affiliates To Enlist In Your Sales Army!,

AFFILIATE MAILINGS: 8 Autoresponder Mailings You Can Modify

And Send To Your Sales Army!, RECRUITING CHECKLIST: 20 Actions

3. A copy of the professional sales letter. Simply plug in your

own order link at the bottom of the page, upload it to your

site and you’re ready to take orders with this high-converting

sales letter.

The original course itself sells for $97 (or only $67 when it is

on sale).  You’d expect to pay at least $297 for a license to a

“premium” course like this, but Jimmy’s making them available to a

select few for the cost of the regular, personal use version!

That’s right, sell just ONE copy of the course and you’ve made

your entire resale rights investment back!

All the details are at…

http://www.infoprofitshare.com/go.php?offer=texasdmcg&pid=49

***IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER***

Only a limited number of licenses are being sold on a “first

come, first served” basis.  This is going out to tens of thousands

of subscribers, affiliates and joint venture partners.

The point is this:  if you want a license to a product that

everyone wants which you can sell for $97 per order, you’d better

go grab this license now!  Once they are sold out, they are gone

for good.

If you’ve ever bought a resale rights license from Jimmy before,

then you know that his materials are FIRST RATE and you’ll almost

certainly recoup your investment with your very first promotion.

Get one while it lasts…
