Well, back in January of this year I wrote about a feature Google is promoting called &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.davemcgarry.com\/cms\/?p=1537\">Google Places<\/a>.&#8221; In that post, which you can read about what Google is doing with it I had briefly talked about QR codes. QR codes are still unknown to most people but they are showing up a lot more all over the place. I mean just the other day I received some advertisement in the mail that had a QR code at the bottom. Also, my new business card for <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/www.workingmomwokouts.com\">Working Mom Workouts <\/a> I put a QR code on the back because my business is all online and I need people to go to my website. If you have any type of business you need one and here is why!<\/p>\n<p>1.) Direct people to your website as I explained with the use of my card<br \/>\n2.) Create promotional messages<br \/>\n3.) Create discounts that your customers can scan the code and be taken to<br \/>\n4.) Capture new leads<\/p>\n<p>Those are just a few examples of how to use the QR code.
